About Me

I have become a fan of random messaging cool people.

Thank you to everyone who is super-cool enough to message me (with something positive or interesting to say).

I enjoy learning about other people's thought processes. I am not a fan of nice short lists of things that define me. Like just about everyone else, who I am cannot be summed up in a box. If you want a list of commonly used adjectives for describing me here are a few:

I spend my energy finding reasons to make connections with others. I focus on finding ways that we are all alike. I am saddened by people who spend their efforts trying to separate themselves from those who are different. If you could step back and see it from the outside, there are many more similarities between all of us than differences.

I have been with my current partner now for over 5 years!

I wish more, native English-speaking, people knew how to spell and use the English language correctly. Maybe I mean that I wish more people would spend the tiny amount of effort required to actually use those skills. Maybe, at the very least, some punctuation and capitalization is in order. But just because you have troubles (or apathy) in that arena doesn't mean that I look down on you or that you are lesser than I am. It is just one of my "gear-grinding" points.

I am curious, many people on this site describe themselves as "I like to have fun" My question is, are there people out there that don't like to have fun? It seems like a cop-out to me to write that, or a serious lack of creativity or effort. Also, music is a fundamental part of just about everyone's life. Try harder people, or don't, it is your decision.

Above all things, I think respect (for others and for yourself) is extremely important.
